Hypnosis for shyness

Shyness is a term used to describe feelings of awkwardness, of apprehension, of a fear of rejection, and it is often part of a broader picture of a lack of confidence. The very fact that someone is shy can be a self reinforcing problem, in that the feelings themselves prevent your mind from working in a relaxed fashion, and therefore prevent your true self shining through. Fortunately, many of the methods of dealing with a lack of confidence can also be used for shyness.

In the self confidence link, we discussed method acting, (creating in yourself the thoughts and feelings of the character being played). Well, shyness is a little like that. If you are taught to act in a confident manner, and act in that way regularly, then it will no longer be an act, but becomes part of who you are. This session enables you to manage and conquer your shyness, and become the confident person you want to be.

During this session we’ll be walking down the mountain path with the stream to our left, then walking down the waterfall steps and enjoying the sights and sounds of the waterfall, before relaxing at the calm pool. You’ll experience full stereo sound effects recorded in digital CD quality, including the sounds of summer, of the stream, the waterfall and the calm pool.
