Fear of public speaking
Many of us envy the people who are able to stand on a stage and hold an audience’s attention, to walk about the stage looking relaxed and calm, to be the envy of many in the audience. The truth is, of course, that the majority of the people speaking in public did not start off speaking with confidence. The funny thing is, many people feel that they have a significant problem, because they they struggle when speaking in public. Yet the same people think nothing of playing their favourite sport week after week, month after month, year after year, working to steadily improve their game. What’s the difference? – Public speaking needs practice the same way that a sport does, though how can we practice?
Well the answer is that we can practice in hypnosis, using the same reality visualisations used in other areas. The beauty of practising this way is that we can give a talk ten of twenty or a hundred times! And with practice and familiarity comes confidence.

During this session we’ll be walking through the ancient wood alongside the lake, on to the bluebell wood, and then on to the observatory in the clearing. You’ll experience full stereo sound effects recorded in digital CD quality, including the sounds of summer in the woodland, including birdsong, and the shore of the lake before going to the observatory.
